“What We Believe”

We do not have a formal creed. We consider the Bible our creed (credo).

Here are some Bible truths we emphasize:

·         The Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God and is still relevant even in this present complex age. (2 Timothy 3:16)

·         God is the Creator. He is our loving and approachable God. (John 3:16)

·         Jesus Christ is the only Savior from sin and believing in Him is the only way to have peace with God. (1 Timothy 2:5 & John 14:6)

·         Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died on the Cross at Calvary, rose to life from the grave the third day, ascended into Heaven and presently sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding for each of us. (Mathew 1:23 & Romans 8:11)

·         Everyone has sinned and needs forgiveness from God. (Romans 3:23 & Romans 6:23)

·         Divine healing of the body, mind and spirit. (James 5:14-16 – Mark 5:1-15 – Matthew 8:16-17)

·         The Holy Spirit as the believer’s teacher, counselor and guide. (John 16:7,13)

·         Eternal bliss in Heaven or eternal damnation in Hell. (Matthew 25:46 – John 3:16 – Mark 9:43)

·         The Great Commission as God’s assignment to His church. (Matthew 28:18-29)

·         The Unity of God’s people. (John 17:21 & Ephesians 4:3-6)
